In Arizona, individuals with developmental disabilities can apply for services through the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Eligibility for services is based on factors such as age, diagnosis, and level of need. Below is an outline of how to apply based on age:
Infant & Toddlers
Eligibility: Children 0–3 years old who have developmental delays or conditions likely to result in delays.

After referral, an evaluation will determine eligibility for services such as speech therapy, physical therapy, and other supports.
